Crystal Ball logged in favor of Duke

Jon Scheyer has become one of the most formidable forces on the college basketball recruiting trail since taking the Assistant Coach position at his alma mater, and has continued to bring in elite level talent since taking the Duke Head Coaching job. His 2022 class consisting of seven commitments finished the cycle as the No. 1 recruiting haul, while his 2023 class ended up second behind a Kentucky class that boasted an astounding ten commits.

And while his 2024 class has yet to reach such heights, he's already positioned well with the seventh-ranked class after adding two commits (Darren Harris and Isaiah Evans). At the beginning of the '24 cycle, Scheyer appeared to be conservatively looking at a small class, but has since extended multiple offers and now has nine out to uncommitted prospects.

Based on the information polled from numerous sources, I'm ready to put in a Crystal Ball that Scheyer will add to that haul.
