Explaining a Crystal Ball pick for 4

With his announcement just days away, it is still uncertain where Burley (Idaho) receiver Gatlin Bair will pick. The No. 1 recruit in Idaho has a top five of Boise State, Michigan, Nebraska, Oregon and TCU.

However, it has seemingly been a Boise State-Michigan battle for the entirety. As I wrote on Wednesday, this one could go either way, with both Boise State and Michigan feeling like they are going to land him. For Boise State, a commitment from Bair would be simply seismic — he's the highest-rated recruit ever from the state of Idaho, per 247Sports.

With two days until his announcement, my pick would be Boise State, though confidence in that move isn't sky-high and is reflected in my latest Crystal Ball projection. Let's dig into it.
